In the summer, the national carrier resumes codeshare partnership with the French company Air France and the Dutch carrier KLM. The cooperation that brings a variety of benefits to the European passengers is in the form of an interline codeshare agreement on flights operated by Bulgaria Air.

Bulgaria Air Launches Direct Flights from Varna to Frankfurt on 6 July
On July 6, 2024, the direct flights from Varna to Frankfurt of the national carrier were launched, and the airport in the sea capital solemnly welcomed the first arriving passengers from the German city. With this new seasonal destination, Bulgaria Air is expanding its portfolio and offering new opportunities for transport connectivity and development in Northeast Bulgaria.

New Rules for Travellers to Israel Effective from 1 July 2024
We would like to inform you that as of July 1, 2024, new rules will come into force for all tourists, business travelers and people visiting Israel. The changes are related to the introduction of a system for obtaining an advance electronic entry permit (ETA-IL), which is issued to citizens of all countries with which Israel has an established visa-free regime - such as Bulgaria.
