As an Cargo operations manager you will be the engine of our commercial strategy with a critical role in researching the cargo transportation market and prepares price lists for cargo and mail transportation for the destinations on which the airline operates as scheduled routes.

Main responsibilities:

- Conducts the commercial policy of the airline regarding the carriage of cargo and mail

- Controls the work of cargo agents, prepares proposals for signing new agency contracts and monitors their implementation

- Monitors the timely provision of the necessary documents and supplies related to cargo transportation and promptly requests them for delivery and distribution for the needs of cargo agents

Competencies and qualifications required:

-To know the regulatory framework related to the transportation of cargo and mail by air transport

-To be familiar with the functional duties of the offices directly involved in the cargo and mail service process.

-University degree in Aviation Management, International economic relations or Tourism

-To be proficient in written and spoken English for negotiations and correspondence

-Minimum 5 years of experience in a position related to freight transport

Other qualification is an advantage:

-Specialized courses in IATA centers or in centers licensed by DG GVA

-Specialized courses on transportation of dangerous goods, Dangerous Goods – Category 6

-Specialized courses in cargo handling, Safety Management Systems for Cargo Operations Staff

-EASA (EC) Regulation 965/2012
