Bulgaria Air’s pilot Rayna Koseva participated in the Forbes ESG Summit 2024
In March, the Forbes ESG Summit 2024 – a prominent business event—brought business leaders from four continents to Sofia to share their experiences and good ESG practices for environmentally, socially, and corporately responsible management.
Captain Rayna Koseva – an experienced pilot of Bulgaria Air – took part in the second part of the event, called Leaders for Social Innovation. She shared what made her choose to fly in the sky for a living and revealed some stories from inside the cockpit. Captain Koseva is a pilot in command operating Embraer 190, and she is an LTC /line training captain/ - who has completed over 10,000 flying hours in more than 20 years. She is passionate about flying and does not make a difference between male and female colleagues because Bulgarian civil aviation employs professionals with comprehensive vision who respect the responsibility required by their jobs.
Airline passengers can travel with the last generation of A220 aircraft of the European manufacturer Airbus, which plays a significant role in Bulgaria Air's ongoing modernization of the fleet.

The national carrier implements a series of good ESG practices in its activities, as they are considered key factors for measuring a company's sustainability and social corporate responsibility. Bulgaria Air aims to provide its passengers with the best conditions for pleasant flights on board the new, modern Airbus A220, which is money-saving and greener and has reduced harmful emissions and environmental impact.
