"Bulgaria Air" signed an agreement with the national airline of Azerbaijan

The national air carrier "Bulgaria Air" has signed a key agreement with the Azerbaijan National Airlines, which will open a direct air line between the two countries. This happened during an official visit of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, to Azerbaijan at the invitation of his colleague, the Head of State, Ilhan Aliyev. 

During the visit, the two presidents signed a declaration of strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. In their presence, documents of bilateral interest were also signed for the deepening and strengthening of cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, one of them being the contract for joint operation between "Bulgaria Air" and Azerbaijan National Airlines. On the Bulgarian side, the document was signed by Hristo Todorov - Chairman of the Board of directors of Bulgaria Air.

As part of the new cooperation, direct flights between Sofia and Baku are to be launched in the middle of the year. More details on the new flight schedule, prices and more - coming soon!
