Bulgaria Air won the prestigious ninth place in the World Aviation Football Cup 2014
Bulgaria Air's team took ninth place in the World Aviation Football Cup 2014, held June 5-8 in Frankfurt, Germany.
29 teams from aviation companies, divided into seven preliminary groups competed in the championship.
Venice Lions from Italy won the trophy and the world title, before the Brazilian team – Pantanal, whose youngest player was 62 years old, while the Bulgarian dream team was the one who enjoyed the warmest support of the fans in the stands in Frankfurt.
The first nine winners, including the Bulgarian national carrier's team were awarded with plaquets.
The Bulgarian players flew to Frankfurt and back on the board of "Bulgaria Air", and the insurance company "Armeec" sponsored the purchase of the players’ outfits.
