Cancellation of flights FB 807/8 on the route Sofia – Athens – Sofia on 28 February due to strike action in Greece

Dear passengers,

 

Due to upcoming strike action in Greece on Friday, we have to cancel flights FB 807/8 scheduled for 28 February 2025 on the Sofia – Athens – Sofia route. Passengers on the affected flights will be notified of the cancellation in due course and will be offered alternative options to reach their chosen destination.

 

Bulgaria Air is forced to cancel the flight to Athens on Friday at 18:55 and the return flight to Sofia at 20:40 following official information from the Greek authorities and due to circumstances beyond the airline's control. As a result of the announced 24-hour nationwide strike on 28 February, organised by the three largest trade unions in Greece, transport services and operations at Athens airport are expected to be affected throughout the day, leading to flight cancellations.
