Important information for travelers to Cyprus
Dear passengers,
Currently and until a second order, Bulgarian citizens vaccinated and suffered from COVID-19 can travel to the Republic of Cyprus under the following conditions:
- to make an online registration in the electronic portal
- within 48 hours before the planned flight to the Republic of Cyprus to fill in and send to the Cypriot authorities the form available on the electronic portal, in which to reflect their personal data and all necessary information for entry into the country;
- to receive an answer from the Cypriot authorities to the e-mail address for correspondence indicated by the Bulgarian citizens with permission to enter the Republic of Cyprus. Bulgarian citizens who have not been vaccinated and have not suffered from COVID-19, i.e. do not have valid vaccination certificates or a history of COVID-19 disease, may travel to the Republic of Cyprus under the following conditions:
- to make an online registration in the electronic portal
- to perform a PCR test for COVID-19 up to 72 hours before arrival in Cyprus or a rapid antigen test up to 24 hours before arrival in Cyprus.
- within 48 hours before the scheduled flight to the Republic of Cyprus to fill in and send to the Cypriot authorities the form available on the electronic portal, in which to reflect their personal data and all necessary information for entry into the country, attaching to the form a copy of the test made by them.
- to receive a reply from the Cypriot authorities to the e-mail address for correspondence indicated by the Bulgarian citizens with permission to enter the Republic of Cyprus.
- Upon arrival at the airport in Cyprus, this category of Bulgarian citizens should take a new PCR test for COVID-19 at their own expense, and the fee for this test is 15 euros at Larnaca Airport. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the test requirement.
After 72 hours of their arrival on the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, Bulgarian citizens over 12 years of age should take a quick antigen test, which can be performed free of charge at the places designated by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus for identity and boarding pass. An exception to this requirement is allowed only for citizens who have been vaccinated with a third booster dose. Passengers who do not meet and do not comply with the requirements of local authorities will not be allowed on board.
