Cancellation of flights FB851/2 on the route Sofia - London - Sofia on 21 March due to the closure of Heathrow Airport

Dear passengers,

Due to the closure of Heathrow Airport today, as a safety precaution, we have to cancel flights FB851/2 scheduled for 21 March 2025 on the route Sofia - London - Sofia. Passengers on affected flights will be notified of the cancellation.

 

Bulgaria Air has been forced to cancel the flight to London at 3:30 pm today and the return flight to Sofia following an official order from the airport authorities and due to circumstances beyond the airline's control. Following a fire at an electrical substation near Heathrow Airport, all airlines have been ordered to suspend their flights.
