For travelling to Cyprus
Dear passengers,
As of December 6, 2021 all foreign nationals arriving in the Republic of Cyprus, regardless of which country they arrive from and regardless of whether they have a vaccination certificate or a Covid disease certificate, will undergo a PCR test at the airport or port when entering the country. The test fee will be at the expense of the arrival.
This measure will be in force until January 10, 2022.
From December 15 all passengers, entering Cyprus shall do antigen test within 72 hours of their arrival.
The other conditions for Bulgarian citizens travelling to Cyprus are as follows:
-to make online registration in the electronic portal
- to perform a PCR test for COVID-19 in authorized laboratory within 72 hours before their planned travel date to Republic of Cyprus (it applies only for passengers who have not been vaccinated and have not been ill);
-to fill in form available on the electronic portal and send it to Cypriot authorities within 48 hours before their planned travel date to Republic of Cyprus where they shall reflect their personal data and all the information necessary for entering the country;
-to receive an answer from the Cypriot authorities on the indicated by the Bulgarian citizens electronic correspondence address with a permission to enter the Republic of Cyprus.
The Bulgarian citizens who have the right of residence in Cyprus and have the so-called yellow card, as well as travellers who are entitled to enter the country under the Vienna Convention, upon arrival at the airport in Cyprus are subject to PCR test for COVID-19 and mandatory quarantine of 72 hours. After its expiration, they should perform a new PCR test for COVID-19 at their own expense. If the result of the retest is negative, the quarantine is being terminated.

Passengers who do not meet and do not comply with the requirements of local authorities will not be allowed on board.
