Important information for travelers to and from Israel
Dear passengers,
In accordance with the decision of the authorities in Israel, as of March 1, 2022 new conditions for travel of foreign citizens to the country enter in force.
Entry into the country is allowed to:
1. Israeli citizens, foreign citizens holding a valid Israeli ID card.
2. Foreign nationals for whom an entry visa to Israel is not required.
3. Foreign nationals who must have an entry visa to Israel and hold a valid visa.
4. Foreign nationals who are required to have an entry visa to Israel and hold a special authorization letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Office of Population and Immigration.
COVID19 test requirements before departure:
1. Foreign nationals entering Israel must submit a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours of the planned time of departure (from the first point of departure) The test result must be in English and include the passport data of the passenger.
2. Israeli citizens who are permanent residents and temporary residents holding an Israeli passport / valid Israeli ID card are not required to take a COVID test before boarding a flight to Israel.
The following persons are exempt from the COVID test before departure:
1. Those who have remained outside Israel for less than 72 hours.
2. Persons infected and recovered from COVID-19 who present a positive pre-flight PCR or antigen test taken less than 3 months previously, provided that boarding is 8 days or more after the positive test (test day is day 1).
3. Those who have recovered in Israel by presenting a "Certificate of Covid" from the Israeli Ministry of Health indicating the status of recovery - provided that 3 months have not elapsed from the date of recovery.
Health declaration before departure for Israel:
1. All Israeli and foreign travelers traveling to Israel must complete and submit the online entry form through the Israeli Ministry of Health website within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time Vaccinated and / or recovered passengers. Obtaining an Israeli Green Pass:
Vaccinated or recovered passengers who meet the requirements for a European certificate and the Israeli Ministry of Health must attach the vaccination or recovery document to the Israeli mobile application in order to receive a Green Pass. This document will be valid in Israel and will release you from solitary confinement if you are exposed to a confirmed case of COVID in Israel.
Those who have a vaccination or recovery certificate that can be digitally validated through the Ministry of Health's systems will upload their certificate to the form and receive a Green Pass in their email when the form is completed. Vaccinated persons who do not have a certificate that can be digitally verified through the Ministry of Health's systems will declare their vaccination status in the form and attach the relevant documents to the form - and receive a Green Pass in their email when the form is completed. Refunded persons who do not have a certificate that can be digitally verified through the systems of the Ministry of Health will not automatically receive a Green Pass after completing the form. If they are required to go into isolation after exposing a patient to COVID, they will be able to submit the relevant documents to the epidemiological researcher of the Ministry of Health. Covid19 test upon arrival must be provided by the following persons:
1. All passengers must take a PCR test on arrival in Israel. This requirement applies to all passengers, including vaccinated and recovered persons. Pre-registration is required on the company's website
The following persons have quarantine requirements:
1. All passengers arriving in Israel from abroad must be isolated for 24 hours or until they receive a negative result from the PCR test performed on arrival, whichever is earlier.
2. Israelis and foreigners who confirmed Covid-19 during their stay in Israel must go into complete isolation. - Israeli citizens can spend the isolation at home. - Foreign citizens will be transported by ambulance to places of recovery, and the costs of the ambulance, accommodation and medical care are at their expense.
From March 8, 2022, insurance covering the costs of treatment by Covid in Israel is mandatory.
